This is a must have book. We all struggle with things that are taken as life or bad luck or things that run in our family that can actually be spiritual curses, whether generational or other. It teaches us what and how to pray with authority to break any and all curses that dwell in and over our lives and the lives of our loved ones. I say that you buy it and be faithful to reading this every day and you will be amazed at what begins to change in your spiritual surrounding. I am getting ready to read it again with greater understanding and authority before I pass it on to someone else. This is necessary for everyone who is tired of just making it through life and is ready to move into greater things of God.

I always read the reviews before I buy anything really. I saw my friend reading this book and she said how much she liked it. Since I buy books for the healing rooms , I thought I would get a couple to put up for sale. When I opened up the book to read it it wasn't what I thought it was gonna be, hallelujah. It's all Scripture . The whole book is declaring and praying scripture over ourselves and our family and our loved ones. It's an absolute wonderful wonderful addition to anybody's library. I very much recommend the book .

OMG...., this book is so amazing, but however I was not ready for the attacks that came behind reading and studying this book. It really gave me some insight on what to be more aware of in the spiritual realm.

What a powerful book... I can't wait to read all of John Eckhardt's books... Two days into reading this book I had a dream where a woman was alerting her friends that I was rejecting the curses that they had issued against me.. That there is what told me how incredibly powerful this book is..18 “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be[a] bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be[b] loosed in heaven.

I would recommend this book to anyone who is learning to pray more boldly. Also, to anyone who is interested in learning to be specific in prayers.

After reading this book, I have realized that I must dig deeper into understanding the word. Overall, the book gave me some ideas of how curses are spiritual strongholds that keep a person in bondages. Moreover, I really do like how the author gives examples of how he would pray to the Lord for help in eliminating strong holds.

I rated this book excellent because it is very helpful and useful. I enjoyed read and using the information that was written. I would recommend this book to everyone that wants and needs a book that not only gives important information about different recipes, but it gives an encouraging word also. I used this book to teach and encourage the people in my church. I would recommend this seller to everyone...very timely in delivery.

This is a tough one to review. I have read nothing else like it. It is a memoir of Terese Marie Mailhot. Although it is a short read it is not necessarily a quick read. Mailhot grew up in an abusive and dysfunctional family on an Indian reservation. As often happens she continues to punish herself in abusive relationships as a young women. Her book is a brilliant account of her struggles to free herself of the effects and limitations of her past. The combination of her raw pain expressed in such poetic beautiful essays is what separates this book from the rest. Although it is difficult to even imagine the suffering, the book is also filled with hope and light as she uses her writing and education to step toward understanding and living her own truth.

Wow, what an absolute triumph. It took me two days to make it through this book. I found myself needing to come up for air as I finished each chapter. I was forced to consider and regard the women who raised me: my grandma, big sister, my mother. Then there’s the gravity of the realization of all that life will force my daughter to endure. Thank you for putting pen to paper, Terese. Thank you for this book.

I have never read anything like this. Mailhot's poetic prose created an alluring veil for a horrific truth. Her words twisted in on themselves in a way I've never experienced. Although this memoir is short, I found myself needing to read it very slowly. Raw, powerful, brutal, damaged, beautiful.

Teresa captures the beauty and horror of ptsd, abuse, and a truly traumatic memoir with her poetic writing. This book spoke words and memories that I was uncapable of speaking for myself or authentically communicating how a life like this can affect someone. This was truly one of the best books I've read in quite some time

But I did and I would recommend that everyone would enjoy it. The life that this woman led and is living is inspiring to anyone who take the time to read her story.

It’s taken me a couple weeks to finish the first chapter of this book. Not because of any lack. But the overflowing nature of it.It is so full. Every sentence is gut wrenching or heart opening or endlessly contemplative in its simply stated ocean encompassing depth.I’m afraid to read something so true too quickly. It must be nibbled and chewed. Not because the reading is dense or difficult. Just the opposite, it sings so concisely and beautifully that it cuts, it burns into your heart. It threatens to shatter me, so I savor it, the way it's changing my life.This is the journey of your words and your heart on this page. It is too much for who I am today. Every paragraph brings me to a closer understanding of life and myself. I need only the smallest bite to keep me churning my own story and guts for days on end.A gift to the world. Thank you.

And that's fine. This book isn't meant for everyone. It's style doesn't suit the general populace. But those of us that "get it" can truly appreciate this written work. Some people say that it is poorly put together. That they don't know what the writer was trying to get across. It's not what they expected. In some ways, I want to say that having expectations of this book to fall in line with other memoirs will set you up for disappointment.I do not identify on a personal level with the author, though I understand it to a certain level. I understand that I don't understand. I often look for insight into the mind of people who struggle with mental health. I want to understand their personal reality, because it differs from mine. As I read this book, it reminds me of my own journal. When I write, knowing that no one else will read it, I am very sharp. I can be accusatory and self-deprecating. I am criticizing and cynical. That is the way I write for myself. When I compose something with the expectation that someone else will read it, I craft my words together very differently. I have a whole other narrative when I know there will be an audience of some sort. I pay more attention to the message I want to get across, and mask the internal turmoil. The author masks nothing. The author writes as she self-reflects, and sometimes that means skipping time frames. Though it may not come across as linear story telling, it is linear in time in moments of self-reflection.If you create something that everyone will LIKE, you will have created something that no one will LOVE. And I love this book.

This is a brave, infuriating work on many levels. It is also illuminating about aspects of Indian culture (her words) and family dysfunction, human dysfunction. Proceed with caution because it is a hard emotional read, but Mailhot's writing makes it very worthwhile.
